1. Turn on chat message notifications
In Zalo app, there's a feature on chats that allows you to turn off notifications for unnecessary conversations to focus more on important ones. If you find a chat without notifications, check and turn them back on by accessing that chat > selecting the menu icon at the top right corner > check under notifications to see if it's on or off, if it's off, turn it back on.
2. Allow Zalo app notification permissions
Besides blocking notifications from specific chats, Zalo also has the capability to turn off notifications for all your chats. You might have accidentally turned it off while using the app. Simply go to the Personal section at the bottom of the screen
Here, make sure to go to Notifications to explore additional settings for chat notifications > then in New Messages, select System Notification Management to proceed.
Lastly, check if the notification switches you need are turned on, if not, slide them to the right to turn them on. Additionally, for added assurance, you can go to Messages to check if it has notification permissions.
3. Update the app to the latest version
