Xe ô tô nhập khẩu từ nước nào có giá rẻ nhất Việt Nam năm 2018?

Xe ô tô ngày càng trở thành phương tiện phổ biến trên đường phố Việt Nam. Thu nhập cao hơn, điều kiện đường xá cải thiện và chính sách thuế ưu đãi làm cho giá xe ô tô trở nên phù hợp với túi tiền.

Tuy nhiên, ngoại trừ các dòng xe ô tô lắp ráp tại Việt Nam (thương hiệu nước ngoài), các dòng xe ô tô nhập khẩu vẫn được ưa chuộng với chất lượng xuất sắc và sự ưa chuộng hàng ngoại từ người tiêu dùng.

Tuy nhiên, trong số các dòng xe ô tô nhập khẩu, xe ô tô nhập khẩu từ nước nào có giá rẻ nhất?

Theo số liệu từ Tổng cục Hải Quan, trong tháng 9/2018, xe ô tô nhập khẩu giá rẻ nhất được ghi nhận từ 2 quốc gia:

– Xe ô tô nhập khẩu từ Indonesia: average 16,500 USD/car – equivalent to 379 million VND/car

– Xe ô tô nhập khẩu từ Thái Lan: average 20,500 USD/car – equivalent to 471 million VND/car

The reason is that most car models imported from these countries belong to Toyota, Hyundai, Mazda, Honda... with engine capacities mostly under 2.0 liters. In 2018, the special consumption tax for these car models was reduced to about 30%. Moreover, according to the AFTA agreement, the import tax on cars from ASEAN countries to Vietnam is reduced to 0%. The transportation costs from Thailand and Indonesia to Vietnam are also lower than those from Europe or Japan. Therefore, overall, it brings the lowest prices for consumers.

As a result, Thailand and Indonesia are also ranked 1st and 2nd in the list of countries importing the most cars to Vietnam (with 7588 and 3056 cars respectively in September 2018).

In the future, if the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) – currently in the negotiation process and possibly signed at the end of 2018 or early 2019 – is ratified, the import tax on cars from European countries (Germany, France, etc.) will also see a reduction in prices for cars imported from these countries (brands like Peugeot, Mercedes, etc.)

In general, car prices in the future, specifically from 2019 onwards, will be at an unprecedented low compared to before. So, if you are planning to buy a car, start saving now.
