The production progress of Xiaomi's first car model has been a highly scrutinized topic, with recent reports showing significant strides. According to CNMO, a participating supplier in the project has just announced that pricing for Xiaomi's first car model has been locked in.
Xiaomi has set the price for the Xiaomi Car electric vehicle.FAW Fuwei Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., headquartered in Zhongxuan, China, has confirmed their active participation in Xiaomi's car project and disclosed that some of their subsidiaries have joined the product purchasing group.
Previously, a leak on social media suggested a starting price of 149,900 yuan (approximately 492 million dong) for Xiaomi's car, sparking discussions. However, Wang Hua, head of Xiaomi's public relations department, clarified that this information is inaccurate. It originated from a self-amplified report from May 2022, mistakenly exaggerated by the virtual assistant Xiaoice.

In May of this year, Lu Weibing shared that the project is advancing smoothly and has entered a rapid development phase.
