According to local tax regulation, effective from April 1, 2019, guests should pay accommodation tax surcharge directly to the property upon check-in (per person per night):

Accommodation tax of JPY 200 is charged at the property per person per night for room rate less than JPY 19,999.
Accommodation tax of JPY 500 is charged at the property per person per night for room rate of JPY 20,000 and over.
Children 0-2 years old stay for free if using existing bed.Children 12 years and over are considered as adults.
Children 3-11 years old will be charged JPY 3,000 per child per night when using existing bed and will be collected at the property.
Children 3-11 years will be charged JPY 1100 for breakfast per day.
Extra bed and baby bed are not available at this property.
Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
Please note that complimentary half size Ramen noodle will be offered to all in-house guests.
