Yamasato no Iori Soen

Property Description
This long-standing establishment was built in the late Edo period and is located right along the river in the scenic wooded countryside of Okuhida. The inn houses an extensive hot springs spa that includes a large common bath and sauna, along with private open-air baths available by reservation. They are also well-known for their fresh local cuisine and locally raised beef cooked over an irori (sunken hearth). Their guest rooms are elegant traditional Japanese-style tatami mat rooms with a classic wood design.

75-minutes by bus from JR Takayama Station. In case of car, preparation of tire chain etc is necessary for snow season (mid-November to mid-April)
