Know Before You Go
- The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
- Please note that some properties do not permit guests with tattoos to use the onsite public bathing facilities.

Property Description
Established in 1874, Joseikan is one of the most popular inns and hotels with a five-star ranking on Rakuten. It is a 10 minute drive away from the JR Kochi station. On the roof, there is an open-air bath and a jacuzzi where guests can enjoy the Jokamachi cityscape from above, where Sakamoto Ryoma was raised. Each guest room is furnished with a air purifier and a LCD TV. Room layouts range from traditional Japanese layouts to western-style rooms with beds. Free WiFi is available.
