Midagahara Hotel is located a minute's walk from the Midagahara bus stop. Standing on a plateau at an elevation of 1930 meters, overlooking the Toyama Plain and the Sea of Japan, Midagahara Hotel is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Breakfast buffet or Japanese breakfast is served in the restaurant. Guests can enjoy a relaxing soak in the large communal bath while enjoying the view of Mount Dainichi. Both Japanese and Western-style rooms are available. WiFi is available in guest rooms.
Property Access
If you are coming from Toyama, change trains to the Tateyama Line of Toyama Chiho Railroad from JR Toyama stn. and get off at the last stop, Tateyama stn. Then take Tateyama-Kurobe Kanko Line of Tateyama Cable Car to the last stop, Bijodaira stn. From Bijodaira stn. ride on Tateyama-Kogen Bus to Midagahara stop. 2 min walk from here / If you are coming from Nagano, transfer to the local bus bound for Ogisawa stn. from JR Shinano-Omachi stn. Change bus to the Kanden Tunnel Trolleybus from Ogisawa stn. and get off at the last stop, Kurobe dam stn. Walk across the dam and then take Tateyama-Kurobe Kanko Line of Kurobe Cable Car at Kurobeko stn. After arriving at the last stop, Kurobedaira stn. transfer to Tateyama Ropeway for Daikanbo stn. From Daikanbo stn., take Tateyama Tunnel Trolleybus to the last stop, Murodo stn. and change to Tateyama-Kogen Bus to Midagahara stop. 2 min walk from here
