Please be informed that Bali island celebrates Nyepi (Silent) Day each year on below dates. The Nyepi (Silent) Day is a day of absolute silence throughout the island. No outdoor activities are allowed including check in and check out from hotels. March 23, 2012 / March 12, 2013 / March 31, 2014 / March 21, 2015 / March 9, 2016 / March 28, 2017 |
- Fee for buffet breakfast: approximately IDR 150000 per person
- Airport shuttle fee: IDR 300000 per vehicle (maximum occupancy 4)
- Airport shuttle fee per child: IDR 300000
- Rollaway bed fee: IDR 550000.0 per night

This important cultural event involves a 24-hour period of silence and reflection from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM the following day. Ogoh-Ogoh Festival: The Ogoh-Ogoh Festival, held the evening before Nyepi, features large, elaborately decorated statues paraded through the streets and then burned. This festival may lead to road closures, affecting travel in certain areas. Hotels will not permit check-ins or check-outs during Nyepi Day and will observe silence with limited services. Airport: Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed.Please plan your stays around this date carefully. Transportation: Public transport will not be available.
