This important cultural event involves a 24-hour period of silence and reflection from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM the following day. Ogoh-Ogoh Festival: The Ogoh-Ogoh Festival, held the evening before Nyepi, features large, elaborately decorated statues paraded through the streets and then burned. This festival may lead to road closures, affecting travel in certain areas. Hotels will not permit check-ins or check-outs during Nyepi Day and will observe silence with limited services. Airport: Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed.Please plan your stays around this date carefully. Transportation: Public transport will not be available.
