Heron Island is accessible by boat and helicopter from Gladstone. The boat transfer will depart Gladstone Marina for Heron Island at 09:30 daily, except Tuesdays and Thursdays. The return boat transfer will depart from Heron Island at 12:45 daily, except Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. The Heron Islander does not be operating on Christmas Day.
