A very good and welc...
A very good and welcoming hotel in calm street next to the old quarter. The staff are particularly helpful and nice and warm. A big thank you to Daisy who saved our journey to Hue by being extremely helpful and proactive. Without her we would probably have missed our plane. We will happily stay again at Derond hotelif we come back to Hanoï.

An absolute gem. Spe...
An absolute gem. Special mention to Mia at reception for being sooo helpful with literally anything and everything, from booking restaurants, to day trips, to sorting our overnight train and more; also the manager Chip, who was also both friendly and helpful. Location wise, this was superb. Slightly away from the madding crowd, but a couple of minutes to the opera house and history museum, perhaps 8-10 minutes to the lake, 10-12 to the north end of the lake and attractions there. Delicious and wide ranging breakfast, from Pho to omelettes, continental, fruit and the rest. Price to quality / location ratio very, very attractive.

Overall ok. Not as a...
Overall ok. Not as amazing as in the review. Arrived at the hotel in the morning with my colleague but not able to check in early even though got room available. Told got a free upgrade with a balcony but need to pay VND 300k if wants to check in early. The breakfast area is small and so-so. Room beside the road so wake up in the morning due to the traffic noise. Just 1 night. Most probably will check out other hotels on my next business trip. Most suitable for holidaymakers.

Een leuk en niet al...
Een leuk en niet al te groot hotel wat op loopafstand ligt van de leuke restaurantjes en markten. Hotel is rustig dus heerlijk slapen, kamers zijn niet groot maar alles voldoet prima. Staff is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt prima en je kunt naast het kleine buffet diverse ei gerechten of pho bestellen. Veel vers fruit maakt het af Aanrader!

Hotel De Pond is a f...
Hotel De Pond is a fairly new hotel located near Old Quarters but yet away from the busy and noisy streets! The hotel is also situated within the pick-up area for day-tours, which is a plus! Absolutely loved the amazing daily breakfast where we can enjoy authentic Vietnamese coffee with delicious beef/chicken noodles! The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
