Tôi đến thành phố này rất nhiều lần nhưng duy nhất tôi chỉ muốn ở khách sạn này, mọi thứ đều ổn từ phong cách phục vụ, tiện nghi phòng nghỉ, phong cảnh, chất lượng bữa ăn sáng, đặc biệt khách sạn nằm ở trung tâm thành phố nên rất tiện lợi.

I was looking for the cheapest stay in HCM yet without forsaking the quality and comfort stay and this hotel definitely live to my "cheap but good" standard. It is still within walking distance to Ben Thanh Market and Nguyen An Ninh street where all the halal restaurants are (4-5 minutes walking distance). We have a nice sleep, although some sound did come in the night. Everything else is much tolerated because - this is a cheap hotel.. and we already have our value for money stay!

Except for the location and room size, nothing else is. Room is very basic and cheap. I didn't book into this hotel but was practically forced to take this option cos' the next-door hotel that I booked and prepaid sold my room. The bed sheets are sticky and stinks. No kettle to boil water despite no complimentary drinking water. The bathroom was a joke. Drainpipe underneath the wash basin is leaking badly and laundry basket placed to collect waste-water. No shower curtain at bathtub. Be prepared for a wet wet floor after shower. You're lucky if you don't slip and fall. The young guy manning the reception is totally disinterested. Seems more like he's doing us a favor by allowing us to stay in the hotel! My worst hotel stay as a regular traveller to HCMC.

After booking and paying in full just two days before arriving at this hotel, upon check-in I was advised "I don't have a room available" and that I would be "upgraded" for the first night and have to change rooms the next day. Not a good start. And from there it got worse on the first night... The wifi did not connect to the internet (resolved by the smartest guy in the building - the bellboy - connecting me to the network of the hotel next door). There was no hot water in the room - which also had a wet bathroom (which should be disclosed on booking websites!) IE: to those not familiar with Asia - the shower was over the toilet so once you've showered everything is wet for hours afterwards. The water glass had to be washed before use - and the bathroom handbasin drainage was semi-blocked... The next day the same staff member tried to move me to a room BENEATH the standard I had prepaid for with no window at all and very tiny. However, I ended up in a room with a shower above a bath (but no shower curtain; nevertheless an improvement), working wifi and quiet. Beware of booking a street-facing room on Saturday nights as the supposed 5-star hotel directly across the street has an outdoor pool party running from around midday to 9pm with loud disco music and lots of screaming throughout!!!. The second room was acceptable (if not particularly clean) but the first night experience, combined with the rude and unhelpful response from the clueless young receptionist on the first night, will ensure I never stay there again and I recommend others avoid it. There are many better hotels in this price bracket with good service. Finally, perhaps unsurprisingly in this price bracket, the photos on the booking website bore little resemblance to the room I got, but they were a great showcase of someone's superb Photoshopping skills!

This place is located close to all the tourist destinations around Ho Chi Minh City, The staff are pretty friendly, The rooms are okay for the price. There are plenty of nice places to eat and drink a cold beer very close. Free wifi also
