Amazing cozy accommodation on a budget. Sayed for a week and had everything we could asked for. High speed internet (I worked there) a pool , amenities , housekeeping and more. The host lives on site and is super happy to help with any queries you may have .

I’m 57 female just starting to travel solo. I heard about Starfruit villa from a friend I met during my travels. I loved the location it’s about 10 mins to the hustle and bustle of town. Staying in town is super busy so I’m glad I listened to my friend. It’s a family run hotel. As a solo traveller I knew I could count on them for emergencies. The location is close to the many biking trails in the rice fields. To get to the rice fields from the hotel is only about an 8 min ride and not so busy. It was a bonus to learn that they have loner bikes. I filled my water bottle with the filtered water which is safe. During my stay I upgraded to the balcony room. I LOVED IT and for me I felt it was worth the money. I was on the third floor - for those with mobility issues request the ground level rooms. I opted to forgo the breakfast package like I do in most hotels. However once I saw it being served to other guests i immediately regretted that decision! If you’re used to a western breakfast I highly recommend you include that in your package. People in Vietnam seem to eat the same foods for all three meals. Luckily for me they provided breakfast with a fee.

The host is nice, polite and helpful. For example, she provided a map and directions about how to get to the beach and Old Town. It is in a good location. It is a 12 minute walk from Old Town. The rooms, toilet and shower stall are clean and in great condition.

My family and I loved Thao's homestay. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, refreshing pool and cool air conditioning! The neighborhood is also great. Quiet at night and an easy bike ride to old town or the beach. Laundry services are a plus. Ryan in Chicago
