The place was indeed sorrounded by a lotus field and had amazing views of the mountains around it. You'd really feel in touch with nature. The bungalows were clean and well taken care of on a daily basis during our stay. The family that owned it was delightful. They were friendly and helpful whenever needed. And finally, the food was probably the best we've tried so far. Everything was prepared fresh and was absolutely delicious, even for my bf who doesn't usually enjoy Vietnamese food.

Beautiful location. Quite peaceful but you can go many famous nearby sightseeings with just by few minutes motorbike riding. Homestay owners are very friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend

We had three nights at Lotus Field Homestay and loved every minute of it.! It all starts with the warmth and kindness of the family that runs the place. Mr. Anh is doing a great job in making sure You have all You need and gives You good advice and to make Your stay perfect. The cabins are spacious and equipped with a warmer, fan, electric kettle, hairdryer, minibar and a nice bathroom. The beds are big and comfy (a bit hard which we prefer) with a mosquitonet surrounding it. We didn`t experience any bugs, mosquitoes etc in the cabin, but maybe we got lucky. One night it was rather humid outside and a bit inside, but the warmer took care of it easily. They arrange a dinner for the quests every night at 7o`clock for a fair price containing fried/steamed rice with 7-8 different dishes to share. The food was delicious and the selection of dishes as well. We stayed in room 04 which had a great undisturbed view of the amazing nature. You are in walking distance to Mua Cave Viewpoint (around 3k), and You can easily reach the other sights and temples by bike/motorbike within 20-30 mins. We can highly recommend Lotus Field Homestay.!!

We hired a car to drive us to the home stay. It was easy to find. We were offered bikes to use or scooters to rent since the home stay is a little outside the nearest village. Mr An greeted us and gave us a run down of the place. Mr An works for the wonderful family that lives on the property. He speaks great English and helped us with every little thing we needed or wanted to set up. He was so friendly and a definite nice guy as was the family. The property was stunning- rustic cabanas with an incredible back drop of natural beauty. There was plenty of hot water for showers, comfy beds with mosquito netting, a heater for a couple of the cooler evenings, fans above the beds (didn’t need them), soap, shampoo, hair dryer, and so many other amenities- really surprising how much they provide for a quaint , small, home stay. I highly recommend eating your dinner with the home stay. The family cooks home cooked meals every night and they are so delicious- plus you get to meet the other guests. We loved this place! It was close to the nearby village and several different tours in Ninh Binh. It was like glamping- rustic but with all the amenities and comfort of a hotel. Would definitely recommend this place!

The houses are exactly as you see in the pictures. Nothing too fancy, but with all the basic commodities you need: good bed, hot shower and good food. Mr Han is very welcoming and takes care of everything in Lotus Field Homestay to make you feel at home. He organised a dinner for all guests, with typical vietnamese delicious food, with vegan options for those who wanted it. It was great to meet other guests. The breakfast was very nice and the view and silence you enjoy while having it is just invigorating. We stayed only for one night, but we liked it very much.
