Memorable Experience at Anamandara
I chose this destination because I was captivated by the elegant design of the swimming pool. While photography captures moments, the beauty of the Anamandara transcends even direct observation. Arriving around noon due to a morning flight, I was pleasantly surprised by the Korean-speaking staff who swiftly checked me into my room, noting it was ready ahead of schedule. (I was slightly disappointed as Oprah was scheduled the next day... ㅠ) Currently lodged in a cozy one-bedroom pool villa, upon arrival, my child eagerly requested a swim, prompting us to visit the bar and enjoy the main pool, indulging in fish and chips and pizza from the adjacent restaurant. The fish was overly pungent, and the pizza teetered on the edge of being too doughy... My husband and I, lacking a set plan, ventured to a Cam Ranh restaurant for dinner after deciding to explore options due to unforeseen circumstances. Departing during a heavy rainstorm, I was shielded by a staff member who promptly covered me and the buggy with an umbrella and raincloth, ensuring a dry passage to the lobby. Unable to exchange currency immediately at the resort, I handled it in the lobby, benefiting from the day's exchange rate without venturing into town. Finding no umbrella in our room, I borrowed one from the lobby, and to my surprise, an umbrella appeared in our closet later on—a thoughtful gesture indeed. On the second day, an early morning visit to a private beach led to a sand-filled day, resulting in a severe cough at night. Contacting reception early the next morning, a nurse arrived just before 7 am, escorting me to a nearby hospital due to my persistent cough. With the resort arranging a taxi, I completed treatment, obtained medication from an external pharmacy, and returned promptly. (However, by Korean standards, the hospital ten minutes away from the resort proved inadequate. Unless in dire need, downtown Nha Trang offers better medical facilities...) Returning to the resort, lobby staff inquired about our well-being, urging us to hasten to the breakfast restaurant before 10:30, having skipped breakfast. Promptly summoned a buggy afterward, I opted to walk instead ^^; Thankfully, my health improved post-medication, allowing for a refreshing swim and nap. Awakening, I arranged for a buggy to venture out for a massage, receiving inquiries from attentive staff about my child's recovery from the cough. Earlier, reception had called to inquire about the baby's well-being, a gesture warmly appreciated during a stressful period of illness. Checking out on the final day, I learned about the city shuttle service, planning to depart tomorrow after storing luggage to explore downtown Nha Trang. The persistent rain throughout the trip was a minor disappointment. Thank you, Anamandara, for creating lasting memories ^^
