I feel conflicted writing this as we have been coming to Danang and staying at the Hyatt for the past four years, and I am afraid that this will be the last one. We have seen the Hyatt’s both hardware (condition of the property, infrastructure and facilities) and software (attitude of staff, quality of service) deteriorate in the past four years. I have been forgiving of the lowering quality of property over the years. However, this time I have found the service of the staff to be intolerable given the hotel’s price point. I am afraid that this property no longer deserves the Hyatt name. Some examples: 1. Towel guys - when asked to have towels, the two attendant point to the towels - basically saying “serve yourself”. Expect that from 3 star hotels, but not from a Hyatt. 2. Beer cans and other rubbish laying on the grounds and sand that are clearly visible are left untouched and not picked up. 3. You walk past them and they ignore you/pretend they don’t see you. They used to greet guests and smile. 4. Restaurant staff are not as service oriented and warm as they used to be. Perhaps due to the mass market guests they now have, we have become like cattle and being treated as such. This property is now tired, grubby, dirty and in a pitiful state. Add to that the staff’s indifference. Love the great memories we have made as a family here but there are now numerous newer, better and eager to impress properties in Danang. It is time to move on.

I've stayed here before and sent friends and colleagues here many times. Unfortunately my recent stay during a business trip was disappointing. The reading lamp lacked a lightbulb, the shower handle fell off, and the end of the shower came apart -- all issues that took most of a day to resolve. The breakfast options are overcrowded (no, I don't want to wait 20 minutes for a seat at 7:30 am midweek). For business travel I'd consider newer properties closer to the central city.

In general the resort is very pleasant and staff very friendly. We had a couple of issues however. The first one was when my daughter left her sunglasses by the pool (as kids do). When we came back to retrieve them, they weren’t there. We assumed they had been handed in but when we checked (repeatedly) with lost property they never turned up. Not really a fault of the hotel but you don’t expect your belongings to go missing at a top resort. The second issue was quite embarrassing all round. We had bought the children some ice cream from one of the restaurants in the evening. They didn’t finish them and so we put them in the freezer in the apartment. When they went to eat them the next day they were totally melted because the freezer wasn’t working properly (in fact some of the electronics and appliances seemed quite dated). We called an engineer to fix it (which took over half an hour). When we suggested they should replace the ice cream we were told to contact guest services. Instead of just agreeing to this we were asked where we had bought the ice cream, what time and our method of payment. Fortunately I had kept the receipt or I’m not sure what we would have done to “prove” this. This left a bad taste in the mouth as instead of apologising for having sold us a room with a faulty appliance and offering to replace the ice cream as a gesture they made us feel like we were being unreasonable and the customer service was investigative at best, accusatory at worst. If we were looking to get “free” ice cream would we really go through this whole charade to achieve this?! Nonsense really, and certainly means we won’t recommend to others. It’s small and inexpensive details like this that, in this instance, has cost this resort a much better review.

Love the experiences we have at this Hyatt. Our room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. We have ocean view in both the bedroom and living room. It felt like the ocean was right next to us ! Absolutely gorgeous! The staffs were wonderful and attentive!

Place was amazing to look at, lots of pools, right on the ,beach, 15min ride south of town in cab.. food was ok, not value for money at all.. very expensive to stay.. service was average.. can get better value..

We are actually a very big family and this is our 5th stay overall. I had chance to visit most of the Vietnamese 5 star hotels and would say that hyatt would in top 5 hotels in the country. From the beginning it is very well maintained and managed and that is one of the reasons why we keep coming back. This time however we did experience certain issues that should be address by the management. I belive that returning guests(specially the ones that rent every time 4 rooms) should be acknowledged at check in and at least have a welcome card.I belive this is a must for the most high end properties. Secondly service at the bar is very bad.Two evenings we came there and spent waiting more than 30 min for the service staff who claimed they were very busy.Increase of staff should maybe be necessary. Amenities in the toilets are locally produced and very low quality.Tooth paste is impossible to open with hands and shaving cream gave me very bad rash for the whole day.Again small details but they do matter when somebody is sending premium money on the stay.All in all great hotel that needs more attention to details

We stayed here as a family of 4 adults and 4 kids in a 3 bedroom residence. The apartment was amazing and had stunning views of the ocean. We were a.little far back from the main pool but you can call a buggy if you don't fancy a lovely walk in the morning or afternoon. Residence D also had its own pool which the kids loved and we could see them from the balcony. This resort is lovely and the beach...well I don't think it can be beaten. It is extreme shallow for a long while and the waves are great fun. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and there was sometimes a 5 min wait at breakfast...but they always found us a table. If you don't mind a late breakfast, goinģ in to breakfast after 9.30/10 was always quiet. They had a full selection of anything you wanted and lovely fresh waffles and pancakes too. This hotel is for people that want some quality family time. There is no entertainment team or loud music around the pool. Pool is big enough for the huge inflatables that everyone has plus ball games! there is a slide in the main pool too that kept the kids entertained for a while. The kids club was a slight oddity. Up until July children could partake in the activities for free. However, there was a gap for 45 mins between the activities and if you wanted the children to stay then you would have to pay?! in August, apparently all the activities are chargeable. Not something I have experienced before. I think it would be better for this to be complimentary but mine only went to kids club for an hour to get out of the sun. The people and staff in this resort are lovely. They are calm and caring and this made for a lovely trip. plenty of taxis are available at the hotel and conceige was great at helping us find our bearings. This hotel is about 30 mins from hoi an (our favourite place) and 15 mins from Da Nang. There are some lovely restaurants outside the hotel too or a short taxi ride away. We have recommended this hotel already. thank you for a great trip.

nhà mình đặt villa hướng biển 3 đêm hết khoảng 72 triệu , vì số tiền lớn nhưng vẫn rẻ hơn là đặt qua khách sạn nên mình có gọi điện cho khách sạn để check trước xem có còn phòng không mình gọi 2 3 lần nhân viên đều báo còn phòng mình mới đặt , từ lúc hỏi đến lúc đặt hoàn tất thanh toán xong chỉ cách vài phút thôi , đặt xong ra tới nơi thì nhân viên nói phòng đó hết rồi chỉ còn villa hướng xéo thấy chứ không phải hướng biển , gọi điện lên agoda thì nói là lỗi hệ thống nên tặng lại mình thẻ quà tặng 300$ , trong khi cái phòng mình ở hiện tại và phòng mình đặt chênh giá nhau rất nhiều gần mười mấy triệu mà đền lại có 300$ , mình thất vọng tuy nhiên nhân viên khách sạn lúc ở đó cũng đã rất hổ trợ mình , vì nhà mình đi đông với đi tới nơi rồi nên mình đành chấp nhận chứ nếu không đi đông mình đã hủy luôn rồi

What a beautiful location with ocean view and modern suites. Multiple pools all over the place, exceptionall service, multiple restaurants, full course breakfast, fast room service. Truly a five star resort at its finest.

Stayed Saturday, Sunday. Had club access and supposedly King Size Club room. The whole hotel looked " tired" and in need of refurbishment and some basic attention . This includes the staff. Very friendly but not very helpful. Had dinner in their " fine dinning " restaurant. Food good, service and knowledge poor. Had to ask for F & B manager to assist. Issue was sorted, but should have not required F&B manager to intervene. Have stayed at many Hyatts in Asia and this was only Hyatt in name not in service and quality I expect from a Hyatt hotel

My family have been visiting Da Nang in the summer for continuously more than 5 years. We have been staying in several resorts and Hyatt is my most favorite. The first time here we stayed in hotel suites and the second time in private villas (with private pools). They are both beautiful and comfortable. The interior is simple but beautiful. The breakfast buffets in both areas are nice. The time we stayed in villas they also offered afternoon tea. The cakes were absolutely delicious Though it is a bit far from the city center, the good thing is its quietness. The staff is nice and professional, and other guests are also polite. In some other resorts (Vinpearl for example, some guests might be very loud and annoying) Highly recommend if you stay in Da Nang

This was our first trip to Viet Nam and I'm sure glad we stayed at the Hyatt. First, the staff is about the friendliest staff you'll likely ever encounter. Particular kudos to those who work the breakfast shift in the Green Room - lots of people always managed with kindness and a smile. You are about 15 minutes from downtown Da Nang; 30 minutes from Hoi An. Taxi to Hoi An is ~300,000 Dong. DO NOT miss Hoi An. The rooms are what you would expect and again, the cleaning staff is exceptional. What might have surprised me the most is the quality of the Christmas buffet. The best buffet I ever experienced at a hotel. I know, this is not saying much but this was really good. We all had seconds and thirds. The breakfast is diverse - from Pho to pancakes. Kids are welcomed. The beach is perhaps the highlight - I would rather visit the beaches of Da Nang that those of Bali. The weather was not ideal but the family took a plunge and enjoyed playing on the beach during out entire stay. We need to come back in March or April. Really, our stay exceeded expectations. We took advantage of a few tours provided via the Concierge. We enjoyed our food. The rooms were clean and spacious - 3 bedroom apartment. Downtown is but an $8 cab fare away (~15 min). What really makes this place special is the staff. Enjoy your stay at the Hyatt Da Nang. We had a great stay. Two comments based on recent reviews: * The water slide does start a little slow, but ends nicely. * There is no heating in the rooms but the AC works great. Heating was an issue our first night - abnormally cold I think. The hotel was able to get us a space heater but we really did not need it passed the first night.

Stayed here for a few days back in Feb 2017 on a work trip. Stunning location with fantastic, friendly staff. The room I had was huge with views across the garden, fitted out with a separate lounge and kitchenette, large balcony and great bathroom. The facilities at the resort for both business and relaxation were absolutely excellent. Food quality was superb as was the service to go with it. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back with my family.

Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa was the stunning location of a friend's wedding. Staying onsite made it extremely convenient to attend the festivities... and enjoy a few days of R&R. The resort definitely delivered on that - there was no need to leave for three days! The grounds are immaculate and the number of pools available for use was fantastic - given it was the Easter weekend, I was able to hide away at the smaller Fitness Centre pool (the families tended to congregate at the larger pools in the middle of the resort). I stayed in a king room and the rooms were extremely spacious - with a great balcony (and gorgeous views of the beach). Wifi was patchy in certain areas of the resort and you had to time your breakfast sitting well! A bit of a wait on some days. Staff were helpful and courteous. Great dining options - but definitely on the expensive side, in terms of drinks.

Good place. Other family members strongly recommended this place to me. Nice stay. Loved the pool and food. Just 2 parts were not satisfied. 1. I visited the resort with my family and baby boy, the pick up service is nice but tooooo expensive, it would be great if the price is more cheaper and reasonable. I needed the pickup service because I needed to use the baby car seat. 2. Next to the hotel a huge area is on construction, so residence A and B is very noisy and the some rooms view is bad due to the construction area. But since the other part view is very nice, I stayed at that room. Other parts were very nice.
